Partition Cafe & Bar

“Partition is a bar and café inspired by the partition in my own life. It is a reflection of what it means to be an Asian-American adoptee. As an adoptee from China raised by white parents, I’ve had to navigate many confusing conversations and experiences about my cultural and racial identity. 

Each menu item takes a witty twist on stereotypes, racial slurs and phrases relating to my experience with adoption, racism, and privilege. I aim to take a light approach in discussing a serious issue in hopes to start conversations about this topic.”
